There’s just something about a pair of amazingly crafted shoes where every detail is perfect, and that’s what you’ll find with Rene Caovilla designs.
Here’s some background to get you started if you haven’t heard of this longstanding designer:

We take care about research, innovation to explore new paths and create imaginative shoes with distinctive shapes and textiles, exquisite embroideries. We take care of our people and the environment we operate in, by respecting our core values:
Our long and rich history of craftsmanship and unparalleled creativity allow us to be a one-of –a-kind brand in the luxury shoes segment. Our mission is to realize dream-shoes whose creation comes from a cross fertilization between art and couture.
These aren’t typically everyday shoes—these are shoes worn on the red carpet by the likes of Taylor Swift, Robin Wright Penn and Sarah Jessica Parker, although you will find a few casual surprises thrown into most of the seasonal collections, like a pair of sneakers or lightweight sandals.
Here’s what we love for Spring/Summer 2015:
“Smoking:” This shoe is like a chic women’s tuxedo for your feet. It features a delicate pointed toe and a tiny replica of a tuxedo shirt along the middle, which is wrapped in beautiful black beading. It has a thin heel and a thin back strap as well. It’s such a whimsical take on formal shoe wear and we just have to love the fact there’s a little humor thrown into the mix. In fact, the men’s formalwear inspiration is something that’s highlighted in quite a few of the spring and summer pieces from Rene Caovilla.
Spider: This shoe is not only all about the detail but also all about the sexiness. It’s got an almost cage-like strap design that runs along the top of the foot and the ankle. There are hints of shimmer in the form of black beading, which offers a perfect contrast against the white pointed toe.
Arabesque: These may be flat sandals but there’s certainly nothing mundane or boring about this design. Again, there are lots of delicate details and knotted ribbon-style straps that rest on top of the foot. There’s shimmer and glimmer to this sandal, even though it could be worn casually.
Moulin Rouge: This is one of our all-time favorite shoes. It’s dainty, elegant and one-of-a-kind with barely there straps and colorful bows adorning the foot and ankle. This shoe is so lightweight it’ll feel like it’s barely there, yet it will still manage to make a statement and be eye-catching.
